So, some major life changes have taken place for me in the past few weeks. I quit my job of seven (?!?!) years, and switched careers, completely out of my comfort zone.
It's weird... I'm no longer an air-brush artist/tech guy/carpenter/scrap-metal scrounger/trouble shooter/anything-I-need-to-be-to-make-money-guy.
My new job should take care of most of my expenses. That's it. One job. At one place. Sure, I'll probably do some jobs on the side still to help pay some expenses for my parents/grandparents if needed. But... I won't HAVE to work a second job if I don't want to.
And, it's not ideal, I mean, it's a desk job. And so many people, myself included, would encourage someone to choose to work at a job that makes them happy over a job that makes a little more money. But, not everyone is going to find a job that makes them feel all warm and fuzzy everyday right? And sometimes, you just need more money.
And this will give me free time again. I mean, sure, I had time before, but without money, you find that you run out of things to do really quick, and if you're so tired in that time that you don't feel like moving, much less like doing anything that makes you happy, then it's not worth much.
So, I'm hoping to actually entertain some hobbies again.
Like I said, it's going to be weird...
